Seeking Applicants for the Public & Traffic Safety Committee!
Hey, Sweet Home!
We are seeking applicants for our Public & Traffic Safety Committee, which meets the second Wednesday of every month at 4:00 PM. The committee is charged with reviewing traffic safety issues in Sweet Home, including stop sign placement, traffic calming, and parking. This is a valuable committee that makes recommendations to staff and City Council to enhance the safety of our community.
There are currently four full-time vacancies, and we are also seeking an alternate to attend every other meeting. Up to two members may reside outside City limits but within the boundaries of Sweet Home School District.
