Property/Evidence
The hours to obtain property from the Sweet Home Police Department's Evidence Room are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
For best results in obtaining your property, please follow the below listed guidelines:
- Make an appointment with our property custodian prior to coming into the Police Department. You can reach our property room by calling 541-367-5181
- Bring photo identification
- If you are not the actual owner, you must provide a notarized letter from the owner stating approval for you to pick up the property
- Release of weapons have additional requirements - call prior to arrival
PLEASE NOTE: Property Cannot be released without prior approval from the Investigating Officer, District Attorney or Court.
Our Property Custodian will not release any property without authorization directly from the above listed sources.
