City Council
AGENDAS & APPROVED MEETING MINUTES
City Council meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Sweet Home City Hall, 3225 Main Street. City Council Agendas are available by the Friday prior to the Tuesday Council meeting.
Council Committee Meetings and other City meetings and events can be found on the City's calendar page.

LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES
The Sweet Home City Council adopts Resolutions and Ordinances throughout the year. Sweet Home Charter sets out how Resolutions and Ordinances are handled and when they are effective.
Ordinances are rules, regulations and codes enacted into law by local governing bodies.

Council Responsibilities
- Consider and enact appropriate legislation to protect the health, safety and welfare of the City
- Adopt the budget
- Establish general policies for the conduct of City government
- In certain situations, sit in judgment on specific quasi-judicial issues
