Face Coverings, Be Nice
Today is July 1st, which means Governor Kate Brown's requirement for Oregonians statewide to wear face coverings when visiting indoor spaces is now in effect. The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) generated the Statewide Mask, Face Shield, Face Covering Guidance. We encourage everyone to read the entirety of the document, which lists the instructions for businesses, the public visiting indoor spaces, and many of the exemptions. We have also included a few other useful documents.
We want our local businesses and employees to thrive amongst the ever-changing requirements. Our friends and neighbors run these companies. They do not create these instructions, but to keep their livelihood afloat, they need to implement them.
If you are amongst mask/face covering wearing individuals, be nice to those who do not.
If you fall amongst one of the exemption categories, be nice to those who do not.
