Title VI Plan

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance.

The City of Sweet Home is committed to ensure that no person is excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of its programs and services based on the basis of race, color, or national origin, as protected by Title VI in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Circular 4702.1.B.

The City of Sweet Home operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, or national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Any person who believes they have been a victim of any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the City of Sweet Home.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits discrimination against persons with disabilities in the provision of any aid, benefit, or service. 

The City of Sweet Home operates its programs and services in compliance with the ADA. Any person who believes they have been discriminated against on the basis of disability, including those denied a Reasonable Modification request, may file an ADA complaint.
