Details
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM CONTINGENCY TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES LINE IN THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, there have been times during the past fiscal year that the- city building inspector has been unable to review permits and make inspections; and
WHEREAS, during these times, outside services have been contracted to perform this work; and
WHEREAS, the cost of these services was unanticipated during the 1999-2000 budget process; and
WHEREAS, ORS 294.450 provides for the transfers of appropriations within a fund or from one fund to another by official resolution of the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY OF SWEET HOME DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
To transfer $10,000 from contingency to the Building Department Professional Services expense line in the General Fund.
This transfer would fund the cost of hiring outside inspection services this fiscal year not to exceed $10,000.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this 23rd day of May, 2000.
