Resolution No. 11 for 1998 - Authorizing the Transfer of Funds from Contingency to the Non-Departmental Projects/Improvements Line in the General Fund

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM CONTINGENCY TO THE NON-DEPARTMENTAL PROJECTS/IMPROVEMENTS LINE IN THE GENERAL FUND.

WHEREAS, the City of Sweet Home would like to update the computer network system in City Hall; and

WHEREAS, quotes from three vendors were solicited and Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments submitted the best offer to do these services; and

WHEREAS, the cost of this upgrade was unanticipated during the 1997-1998 budget process; and

WHEREAS, ORS 294.450 provides for the transfers of appropriations within a fund or from one fund to another by official resolution of the City Council;

NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY OF SWEET HOME DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

To transfer $4,200 from contingency to the Non-Departmental Project/Improvement line in the General Fund.

This transfer would compensate Oregon Cascades West Council of Government for services not to exceed $4,200.

PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this 23rd day of June, 1998.
