Resolution No. 13 for 2023 - A Resolution Concerning Street Closures and Restrictions (Tune It Up Tuesdays)

WHEREAS, traffic patterns and parking issues need to be addressed to safely accommodate the Tune It Up Tuesdays event; and

WHEREAS, Sweet Home Municipal Code 10.04.030 provides that the City Council may, by resolution, establish or alter traffic and parking control;

NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Sweet Home does resolve as follows:

Traffic regulations shall be kept in effect as follows:

A On June 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2023, from approximately 12:00 PM to approximately 10:30 PM, City of Sweet Home right-of-way, located in the parking lot east of 13th Avenue and west of the Rio Theatre will be closed. Parking Restrictions: No parking at the above locations and times. The roads shall be closed and blocked off to vehicular traffic at the direction of the City Manager or their designated representative.

B. Appropriate signs or other markings shall be installed by the Public Works Department to carry safely out the provisions of this resolution and shall become effective immediately upon the installation of such barricades, signs, or other markings.
