Details
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM CONTINGENCY TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES LINE AND THE REP AIRS & MAINTENANCE LINE IN THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT FUND.
WHEREAS, the DEQ permit needed to operate the wastewater system required new tests for e-coli; and
WHEREAS, the city did not have the equipment to perform this testing until late in the year resulting in the outsourcing of these tests; and
WHEREAS, the influent pumps in the wastewater plant needed to be rebuilt this year; and
WHEREAS, the cost of these services was unanticipated during the 1999-2000 budget process; and
WHEREAS, ORS 294.450 provides for the transfers of appropriations within a fund or from one fund to another by official resolution of the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY OF SWEET HOME DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
To transfer $10,000 from contingency to the Professional Services expense line and $7,200 to the Repairs & Maintenance expense line in the Wastewater Treatment Fund.
This transfer would fund the cost of outsourcing new compliance tests required under the DEQ permit and rebuilding influent pumps.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this 27th day of June, 2000.
