Resolution No. 6 for 2000 - Authorizing the Transfer of Funds from Contingency to the General Government Legislative Payroll Expense Lines in the General Fund

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM CONTINGENCY TO THE GENERAL GOVERNMENT LEGISLATIVE PAYROLL EXPENSE LINES IN THE GENERAL FUND.

WHEREAS, City Council approved an increase in their quarterly stipends effective January 1, 2000; and

WHEREAS, the cost of this increase was unanticipated during the 1999-2000 budget process; and

WHEREAS, ORS 294.450 provides for the transfers of appropriations within a fund or from one fund to another by official resolution of the City Council;

NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY OF SWEET HOME DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

To transfer $1,050 from contingency to the General Government Legislative Payroll expense lines in the General Fund.

This transfer would fund the increase in quarterly stipends for the remainder of the fiscal year not to exceed $1,050.

PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this 23rd day of May, 2000.
