Resolution No. 8 for 2000 - Authorizing the Transfer of Funds from Contingency to the Non-Departmental Planning Commission Line in the General Fund

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM CONTINGENCY TO THE NON-DEPARTMENTAL PLANNING COMMISSION LINE IN THE GENERAL FUND.

WHEREAS, the City of Sweet Home has experienced some major land use appeals during the fiscal year; and

WHEREAS, in light of these appeals, it was determined that the Planning Commission receive outside training on making land use decisions;

WHEREAS, the cost of this training was unanticipated during the 1999-2000 budget process; and

WHEREAS, ORS 294.450 provides for the transfers of appropriations within a fund or from one fund to another by official resolution of the City Council;

NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY OF SWEET HOME DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

To transfer $1,000 from contingency to the Non-departmental Planning Commission expense line in the General Fund.

This transfer would fund the cost of specialized training Planning Commission members received for making Land Use decisions this fiscal year not to exceed $1,000.
