Sankey Park Improvements Continue
Sweet Home Public Work employees continue to make improvements to Sankey Park.
You may notice a DO NOT ENTER sign near the Weddle Bride entrance. This entrance is temporarily closed to residents visiting the park as the new parking lot is restructured. Large machinery and workers will take up this parking area until completion. For the safety of residents using the park, please use the main parking are to access the park on 14th Avenue. The park remains open; however, this parking area will remain closed until further notice.
Once completed, there will be ample parking for those visiting the park.
New parking spaces will be created in the vacant lawn area and a new bathroom facility will soon be added as well.
