Sankey Park Improvements Continue
In recent weeks our contractors, Briese Custom Concrete, completed the installation of the new plaza in front of Weddle Bridge at Sankey Park. The next portion of work will begin Tuesday, April 27th. The south side of the park will be closed from the restroom walkway to the hill behind the hut. The staff will remove the old swing set to prepare the area for the loggers, who will be eliminating several trees. The loggers will be at Sankey Park on Wednesday morning, April 28th, to begin falling trees. This portion of the park will remain closed until the tree removal, paths, and infrastructure are completed. The estimated completion date is June 1st.
