Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update - 14
SWEET HOME, Ore. March 27, 2020, 5:15 p.m.— The City of Sweet Home has partnered with Recovers.org to link community needs with available resources and donations. This works by local organizations posting their services and needed resources. Residents can find where to request help, or offer to donate or volunteer. Our Sweet Home partners will contact community members to meet needs or collect donations.
Our new site sweethome.recovers.org will be overseen by Sweet Home Associate Planner, Angela Clegg. Clegg advised “Don’t let physical distance from others keep you from getting the help you need, or from providing help to others. Sign up online, or give us a call. There are people in the community both waiting to help you, and waiting for your help.” She can be reached at 541-367-8113 or aclegg@sweethomeor.gov for more information.
To access the new community portal or to create an organization profile, visit www.sweethome.recovers.org. To create an organization profile, click on the gray button in the top right corner that says “I represent a local organization.”
We do not anticipate making another update until Monday, March 30th, barring any major changes. If we learn of any important local information, we will update as needed.
