Community Clean-Up
Do you have a passion to keep our public spaces clean? Has the cost to dispose of the items impacted your desire to help?
The City of Sweet Home & Sweet Home Sanitation are partnering to assist in your efforts. If you clean up a public or community space, you could receive a voucher to cover the cost of disposal.
How Does This Work?
- Residents complete the form below describing the area* they want to clean up including a picture(s). *Area must be public/community property.
- Code Compliance Officer investigates area to ensure the space qualifies.
- Residents complete clean-up activities and send “after” pictures of the clean-up area and the collected garbage to the Code Compliance Officer.
- During business hours, residents come to City Hall to obtain a voucher. The Code Compliance Officer or designee will examine a load of garbage to ensure that it came from the clean-up site, then issue a voucher.
- Residents take the voucher and the load to the Sweet Home Transfer Station, where Sweet Home Sanitation will collect the voucher and allow the garbage disposal at no charge to the residents.
