Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update - 16
SWEET HOME, Ore. April 24, 2020, 4:51 p.m.— The City of Sweet Home continues to monitor the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in our region. We have one (1) confirmed COVID-19 case in Sweet Home. With the increased number of cases in nearby areas where our residents work, it is reasonable to believe that there are other cases here. We are asking our community to maintain diligence following the guidance put in place by Governor Kate Brown.
- Stay home as much as possible (kids, too.)
- Go out only for essentials (groceries, medical care.)
- Drop food off to neighbors who can’t go out.
- Wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds.
- Do not touch your eyes, mouth, nose, or face with unwashed hands.
- Practice social distancing of 6 feet.
- Exercise outside (hiking, biking) with members of your household only.
- Call your primary care provider or, if you do not have a primary care provider, your local urgent care if you have any symptoms including a fever, shortness of breath, and cough.
If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, Walgreens has chosen Oregon as one of the rapid COVID-19 testing sites in the nation. Drive-through testing will be available by appointment after an online health assessment. Learn more HERE.
