Fireworks over Sweet Home
Saturday, July 10, 2021 - 10:00pm
Fireworks Over Sweet Home Update:
If you haven't already heard, Sweet Home Volunteer Firefighter Association will not discharge the 2021 show from Foster Lake. The US Army Corp of Engineers denied the permit due to COVID. To ensure we could still celebrate Sportsman's Holiday in true Sweet Home fashion, the City Government of Sweet Home, Oregon & Sweet Home Oregon Chamber of Commerce partnered with the firefighters to raise additional funds to have fireworks display high enough to be seen across town. The volunteers will launch the show from the Clark Mill ponds (aka Knife River Property...aka Morse Bros property.) We ask the community to stay clear of that section of land. We encourage you to find a spot with a clear view of the northern sky. We anticipate downtown business parking lots will be great vantage points to enjoy the show.
