Path to Reopening Sweet Home - 2
SWEET HOME, Ore. May 14, 2020, 11:40 a.m.— Today Oregon Governor Kate Brown announced Linn County is approved to move to Phase 1 on Friday, May 15th. The Governor's plan includes a three phase approach to reopening. After 21 days in Phase I, counties continuing to meet the prerequisites may be able to enter Phase II.
The following types of businesses may open as of May 15th as long as they can adhere to the health guidance listed for their categories:
RETAIL BUSINESSES:
Must follow the health guidance listed in this document.
PERSONAL SERVICES PROVIDERS:
Defined as barber shops, hair salons, esthetician practices, medical spas, facial spas and day spas, non-medical massage therapy services, nail salons, tanning salons, and tattoo/piercing parlors. Must follow the health guidance listed in this document.
RESTAURANTS/BARS/BREWERIES/TASTING ROOMS/DISTILLERIES:
Must follow the health guidance listed in this document.
OUTDOOR RECREATION:
Must follow the health guidance listed in this document.

City staff are currently reviewing the Governor's Phase I guidelines and will release more information regarding the reopening of city facilities and parks by 6:00 p.m. tonight.
