Volunteering
Opportunities Are Always Available
The library is a non-profit organization and we could not get along without volunteers.
We accept volunteers from teens to retirees! Typically our volunteers pitch in once a week or two-three times a month, we can work with your schedule, as long as it is within our open hours!
Please read the City's Volunteer Policy, then give us a call at 541-367-5007 or visit us and we can put you to work!
In 2023 volunteers donated over 670 hours of work!
Volunteers are currently doing the following tasks:
Book covering,
Material processing,
Shelving books and movies,
Program preparation,
Program assistance,
Seed sorting
And more!
If you are a teen that needs to acquire Community Service hours, please give us a call or stop in to talk to us about our limited opportunities. We typically have three hour projects that can satisfy this requirement. We cannot oversee community hours for adults.
