Local Business Resources
All Oregon small businesses are now eligible for Economic Injury Disaster Loans to help with meet their financial obligations and expenses. These loans are available in amounts up to $2 million, over terms as long as 30 years. For more information, go to Disaster Loan Assistance.
In addition, the City of Sweet Home is considering a grant program that could cover some or all of the interest charged on these loans. If you are interested in the SBA Disaster Loan Program, or would consider loans if a grant was also provided, please contact Blair Larsen, at blarsen@sweethomeor.gov.
Sweet Home COVID-19 Buy Local Information
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is causing a major upheaval in our local economy, requiring all of us to live our lives and do business in much different ways than before.
In order to help, the City of Sweet Home is gathering information from local businesses, and sharing it with the general public in order to promote takeout food from restaurants, curbside pickup of goods, the purchase of gift cards, and anything else we can do to support our local businesses.
Here is how it works: businesses fill out one of three forms (one for restaurants, one for retail establishments, and one for general business use.) The forms automatically send that information to a spreadsheet, which is publicly shared.
If you run a restaurant, complete this FORM
If you run a retail business, complete this FORM
If you run any other business, complete this FORM
These are the local Sweet Home businesses we can support during this time:
