Sweet Home Housing Needs Analysis Open House
The City of Sweet Home invites the public to an Open House on the City’s ongoing Housing Needs Analysis project. The Open House will take place on September 15th, 2022, at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers at Sweet Home City Hall, 3225 Main Street. The purpose of this meeting is to present draft housing needs and buildable lands data and findings.
House Bill 4006 (2018) requires all Oregon cities with a population greater than 10,000 to report on housing production. The City of Sweet Home is approaching the 10,000-population mark prompting a Housing Needs Analysis (HNA). The analysis addresses a housing needs projection, a buildable land inventory (BLI), a residential land needs analysis and policy measures for accommodating needed housing.
