Sweet Home Police Department Respond to Motor Vehicle Versus Pedestrian Collision
SWEET HOME, Ore. - On 10/14/2019, at approximately 4:00 PM, the Sweet Home Police Department, along with the Sweet Home Medics responded to a motor vehicle versus pedestrian collision at the intersection of Main Street and 13th Avenue.
It was determined a vehicle had hit a pedestrian in a crosswalk at that location. The pedestrian had minor injuries and eventually left with family members.
The driver, a 77-year-old female from Sweet Home, was cited for Failure to stop and remain stopped for a pedestrian.
Law enforcement determined that speed was not a factor.
