Sun Motel Death Investigation - 1
SWEET HOME, Ore. February 5, 2020 — On February 4th, 2020 at approximately 10:50 a.m., the Sweet Home Police Department responded to the Sun Motel, 3026 Main Street, Sweet Home, Oregon, for a reported death. Motel staff had found a deceased tenant in a room.
The name of the deceased is not being released at this time pending notification of the next of kin.
The Sweet Home Police Department Detectives and the Oregon State Medical Examiners Office are actively investigating the incident to determine the cause of death. AT this time, we have no reason to believe there is any danger to the public related to this incident.
Additional information will be released when it becomes available.
The investigation is on-going and anyone with information is asked to call Sweet Home Police Department Detective Cyndi Pichardo at 541-367-5181.
