Sweet Home Police Department Make DUII Arrest
SWEET HOME, Ore. April 8, 2020 — On April 7, 2020, at approximately 5:25 p.m., the Sweet Home Police Department received a report that a motor vehicle collision in the parking lot of Bi-Mart, 1980 Main Street, Sweet Home, Linn County, Oregon. Multiple callers reported that a pickup had hit several parked cars in the parking lot.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that a Nissan pickup driven by Kristopher Charles Garrett, a 26-year-old of Sweet Home, had struck three unoccupied, parked vehicles.
A 38-year-old male and his 11-year-old son received minor injuries at the location as a result of the collisions.
The driver of the vehicle, Kristopher Garrett, was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering (x3) and Criminal Mischief 1. The vehicle driven by Mr. Garrett was impounded from the scene.
The investigation is on-going, and anyone with information is asked to call the Sweet Home Police Department at 541-367-5181.
