Sweet Home School District Message

Dear Parents and Community,

We are writing to inform you that a written threat was discovered late Wednesday afternoon (May 8) in a bathroom stall at the high school. School administrators immediately contacted local law enforcement to investigate.

Sweet Home Police Department and school administration deem the threat as non-credible and unsubstantiated. Although we do not believe this is a viable threat, out of an abundance of caution, we will have increased law enforcement presence tomorrow.

Law enforcement and administration will continue to monitor and investigate the situation. We will continue to keep you informed of any additional information. Because this is not deemed a credible threat, the high school will be open as usual.

We take all threats seriously. Student and staff safety is our top priority.
