Sun Motel Death Investigation - 2
SWEET HOME, Ore. February 5, 2020 — On February 4th, 2020, at approximately 10:50 a.m., the Sweet Home Police Department responded to a reported death at the Sun Motel, 3026 Main Street, Sweet Home, Oregon. Motel staff at that location reported they had found a tenant in their room who was deceased.
When officers arrived at the location, they located a 77-year-old deceased male in the bathroom of his room.
Today, the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office determined that the male died of natural causes. The name of the male is still being withheld as detective’s attempt to locate any family members or next of kin. The Police Department has worked with a number of local service providers attempting to identify any known family members but have been unsuccessful at this time.
