Sweet Home Police Department Death Investigation
SWEET HOME, Ore. - On 10-16-2019, at approximately 9:20 am, the Sweet Home Police Department responded to the area of the 1400 block of 24th Avenue, Sweet Home, Linn County Oregon, for a report of a deceased male. When officers and detectives arrived, they located one adult male approximately 100 yards from the roadway.
The deceased was identified as Kevin Ray Porter, 49 years old, from Sweet Home.
After a thorough investigation of the entire scene, criminal activity is not believed to have played any part in the death.
The family has been notified, and Sweet Home Funeral Chapel responded.
