Sweet Home Police Department Serve Search Warrant

SWEET HOME, Ore. November 12, 2019 — At approximately 1:30 pm Thursday, November 7, 2019 , Sweet Home Police Department with assistance from the Albany Police Department and Lebanon Police Department served a property crimes/narcotics search warrant at 743 Birch Street, Sweet Home, Linn County, Oregon. 

During the investigation, detectives seized numerous stolen firearms, stolen personal identification, stolen property, methamphetamine, heroin, drug paraphernalia, scales and drug packaging material.

Jared N Bilyeu, the 27 years old primary resident of the Birch Street address, was located later by the Lebanon Police Department and taken into custody. He was charged with DCS/PCS-Methamphetamine/Heroin less than a 1000’ from a School, Burglary 1^st Degree, Theft 1^st Degree, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Bilyeu was lodged at Linn County Jail.

The Sweet Home Police Department had received prior narcotics complaints due to reported short-stay traffic and suspicious circumstances frequently occurring at the residence.
