Sweet Home Police Respond to Vehicle vs Pedestrian Crash
SWEET HOME, Ore. December 8, 2021 — On Tuesday, December 7th, 2021, at approximately 5:35 PM, Sweet Home Police and Fire personnel responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash within the 1600 Block of Main Street.
A female child, approximately 15 years of age from Sweet Home, was transported to Corvallis Good Samaritan Hospital to treat her injuries. The injuries are non-life-threatening.
The vehicle involved is a 2009 Honda Civic and was being operated by Sudip Lamichhane, 41 years of age from Lebanon. Mr. Lamichhane is cooperating with this investigation.
The Linn County Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) assisted with the accident investigation.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone that may have been a witness is encouraged to contact Officer Bret Adams at the Sweet Home Police Department at 541-367-5181.
